Mohammed Fouad and “La Vida es un Carnival”?
Posted by: | Commentscelia cruz
I am a bellydancer trying to find a hard copy of a remake of Celia Cruz’s “La Vida es un Carnival.” I am told the Mohamed Fouad did it—it’s a blend of Arabic and Spanish over the original music. I need to have a hard copy ready for a performance next month but can only stream it from the internet. Does anyone know if the song has a different name in Arabic or if it is actually a different singer? I would appreciate any help!
Can someone help me translate this song? (Spanish to English)?

The song is Rie y Llora by Celia Cruz. I think I understand enough of it to understand what it’s about, but I have to translate the whole thing for a project and then write the meaning of the song. I’m just having some trouble with words like rie, ahi, golaza, agarate, and words like that. Also can someone explain to me what the expression “Lo que…” means? I thought que means what. but i don’t understand what it is doing in that statement. thanks
