I have no clue about dancing?
ByI was raised outside the States, and have absolutely no idea what to do at parties. I haven’t been to any where there was dancing yet, but I will be within the next year, and I have no clue about what to do!
I know the basics of the cumbia and the waltz, but that’s it. I don’t even know where to start to find help. What do you do? How do you dance?
Any tips are appreciated!

haha try watching the way the people around you dance and then try it yourself. :]

You don’t necessarily have to dance at dances. Some people just hang off to the side and talk. Watch some of the other people dance, and just move the way the music takes you. Its fun and once you are into it, you don’t even remember being self conscious about your dancing.

take the moves you use every day and turn it into dancing.
ex: picking something off the floor: kick your leg up and pivot around
tripping: tap sequence lol!

Most dancing at parties is just moving to the music. Basically just keeping a rhythm.

just move to the beat! have funn! if you have to watch other people. good luckk!
