in slow motion we can see that, the way he moves the harms when dancing, is not the same way when hes teaching. But its cool.

not really skip number 4 but the beat is quick quick slow, quick quick slow. So it’s 1 2 3 *pause* 5 6 7 *pause*. Count 3 is dragged longer, hence the missing 4.

Is it typical to SKIP the number 4 in salsa teaching? Nice moves by the way. Another instructor did the same, skipped number 4 cuatro.

The “4″ and “8″ are pause that’s why they are not being counted….even I know and I have never danced in my life

4 and 8 are pauses in the music. That’s why you always hear instructors counting off 1,2,3, ,5,6,7, ,1,2,3, ,5,6,7, , You should actually do the same in hear head or even out loud (I do) as you listen and feel the music to make sure you are on beat.
