Rock Artists Feeling (Music)
but I feel like they always mention the wrong ones. Of course I usually accuse them of mentioning the wrong rock and roll acts also.
What’s up with the Beastie Boys, Run-DMC, Public Enemy, Outkast and Jay-Z love? Do these names really deserve to be mentioned among the greatest artists of all time? Care to defend any of them?
Are there any acts that are often overlooked even though they have mass appeal and still provide an original, artful approach to the music? I personally like the rappers who have a smooth delivery and also the ones who incorporate jazz. Some modern artists have become masterful producers and technicians of electronic pop.
Names and artists of these songs?

1) There is one song with lyrics that go like this:
“Every memory of looking out the back door/ I have a photo album spread out on my bedroom floor/ It’s hard to say it, time to say it/ Goodbye, Goodbye/ Every memory of walking out the front door/ I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for/ It’s hard to say it, time to say it/ Goodbye, Goodbye…”
2) And another song that has lyrics like this:
“Holy Diver/ You’re too deep in the middle of the sea/ Ride the tiger/ You can see his stripes but you know he’s clean/ Holy Diver/ Ride the tiger/ You can feel his heart but you know he’s mean…”
3) This song goes like this:
“I wanna be a rockstar/ Where the girls come easy and the drugs come cheap…”
4) Finally, this song has these lyrics:
“Party like a rock/ Party like a rockstar/ Party like a rock/ Party like a rockstar…”
Please tell the me name of these songs (give me the number in your answer) and the artist.
Thanks so much in advance!

Jonathan Fischer, the esteemed archivist responsible for Trikont’s exemplary compilations of “black radical music”, may be stretching a point by describing the 26 choice cuts of 1950s R&B collected here as “early black rock’n'roll” Related Stories Album: Paul Brady, Hooba Dooba (Proper) Roots/Folk Music 12/3/10 Classical Music 12/3/10 Classical Music 12/3/10 Pop/Dance Music 12/3/10
