Please don’t judge me because of what I’m gonna say … PLEASE .

I have always known about a Heavy Metal band that pioneered nearly everything that’s Metal , however , what held me back from listening to this band was the fact that their lead singer is somehow deviant (to me back then) and the whole leather thing that gave me the feeling of a pornography flavored music and not to mention the TV friendly “Breaking The Law” where I hated the video . Lately I have given it a try and downloaded the following Priest’s albums :
(Rocka Rolla / Sad Wings Of Destiny / Stained Class / Unleashed In The East “Live” / Killing Machine / British Steel and Painkiller) . I haven’t had the chance to listen to them all , but I listened to at least 20 songs of the different eras of Priest and their were an immediate favorite “I’m a Classic Metal / Rock fan BTW” . Now , my questions :

[1] Beside “Sin After Sin” and the ones I already have , what should I have “an album” BTW , I hate the guts of 80s Poppish sound just so you know ?

[2] What’s your favorite Priest era regarding sound :
(a) Proto-metalish / Classic Metalish , Hard Rockish “Rocka Rolla”
or
(b) Heavy Metalish “Sad Wings till “Killing Machine”
or
(c) NWOBHMish “British Steel”
or
(d) Their 90s Metal experimenting with Death Metal , Speed Metal …etc.

[3] Please don’t judge me , but did it bother you the fact that one of your favorite vocalists is considered strange in his orientation , way of clothing by many people ? or you find that Rob’s character as the band’s heart ?

[4] Where does Priest fit on your list of favorite artists (as a number on a list) ?
[5] If someone said that J Priest is for example a more important band to Rock N Roll than many other Metalists and Hard Rockers like AC/DC , Rush , Blue Oyster Cult …etc. what would you say ?
