I think there should be at least one direct flight from either San Francisco, LA or Seattle. Right now you have to travel all the way to New York, Chicago or Newark. That’s a needless amount of travel time. Then of course, there’s a long trans-Atlantic journey with hours of layover in London, Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Brussels. By the time you reach India and return the same path, you spent almost 70 hours flying or at the airports. That’s like three days of physical and mental exhaustion.

It would be far easier and more economical to fly the Pacific route. There should be more airlines to operate a route here.
