Rock Artists Brand New

I’m only 28. So I am a 90’s child. To this day on my iphone, when I’m at the gym, school, or driving, ect, I enjoy music from all different types of eras. I LOVE the 80’s to this day. The music, movies, styles, the period itself. But these days, lately, I have been remembering the 90’s and what they had to offer. Shanice, Star Trek:Firdt Contact, Mortal Kombat/Street Fighter 2, Faight No More. I’m sad now lol. I have not been oblivious to what THIS decade offered us. I LOVE DISTURBED. One of my favorite modern day METAL bands. It’s strange because metal for me has long been dead since some time during the 90’s. It’s been nothing but death metal crap where the guy sounds like he is on the toilet. I’m not talking about Pantera. They are metal and good and there is a difference between that kind of growling and the death metal voice. Death metal should be put to death. Anyway,.. not only am I growing increasingle nostalgic for the 90’s but I have adopted a new brand of music into my iphone. Those who have played Street Fighter 4 know what I mean. That soundtrack is amazing. It fits all sorts of moods. I listen to Cammy’s, Sakura’s, and M. Bison’s themes when running. Lifting I turn to Guile, Ken, and some of the stage music such as the Overpass, Air Field, Crowded Down Town China. During my stretches I use Ryu’s and Sagat’s themes. I love the whole Japanese dance/rock remixes. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to more artists like this?

Well, being my age, is it strange to still be blasting Huey Lewis in the car along with some good old Anthrax??? Music today is too few and far between to be considered good depending what genre you listen to. Me, I listen to not everything like some people love to say, BUT I do listen to alot of different kinds. Rock/Metal, 1980-1995 rap, 90’s and some todays R&B, Soul, Classical, Opera, Soundtrack, Jazz/Smooth Jazz, Blues. Am I out of it? What age is it considered today to not be WITH IT? Not that I’m trying to be since I believe it’s hip to be square. Pun intended. lol. I’m just curious because I am self aware of my aging and want to get what I can obtain in my life before I die.

Why also am I yearning for the 90’s more than the 80’s nowadays? I love the 80’s. Hell even the 60’s and 70’s for all the hippie music.

I’m into Classic Rock, and I need everything digital to put on my Ipod. There are a couple websites where you can download a single song of a band, but im looking for a website, blog, forum, where all the artist’s songs and albums are kept. That way I can download all the singles and albums without have to do one by one on different websites. Anyone have a solution? I’m looking for Led Zeppelin in perticular

So I’m looking for a good place to go in NYC. Live music, good food. Inexpensive. The door charge for the live music could be between $8-$20… The food could be inexpensive as well. Does anyone know any places that are having good Aucostics/rock/pop or Jazz? I’m from the NYC area and some artist I’m into are -

Coldplay
James Blunt
Damien Rice
Imogen Heap
Keane
Pete Yorn
Edwin McCaine
Gavin Degraw
Red Hot Chili Peppers – bands like that .. Thanks in advance for your help.. Please include, Venue name/price and whether or not it serves food…. Also the start time and Band name… Thanks so much!!!

,…check out what the dates are for the songs that certain rock artists come out with them?

I heavy metal I’d like to check this out on is “Skid Row”. I’d like to see if there’s a site where I can the date of such songs as “Psycho Love”, “Fire in the Hole”, “Youth Gone WIld”, and other songs have come out. I might also want to see when songs like “Bleed Like Me” by “Garbage” came out.

Thank you.
“Cheetah”,

actually, I already knew Youth Gone Wild was relased in 1989, I was talking more like “The Threat” and “Psycho Love”, but thanks anyway.
